Service Opportunities
Union Church believes that service is worship in action
Serving is better together.
The load is lighter. Connections are greater. Gifts are enjoyed.
In addition to Fourth Sundays worship in action, there are many ways to get involved and serve through Union. Whether you can help one time, occasionally, or want to build it into your weekly routine, you are always welcome!
Cooking & Meal Opportunities

Every Monday we make and serve 50+ homestyle meals for guests at the ICS Hygiene Center. Join a dynamic team for multiple says to serve:
Shopping in advance
10AM to 12PM: Meal Prep at 415 Westlake Avenue N
12PM to 1PM: Serving the meal at ICS (1215 Thomas Street, Seattle 98109)

Often many of us experience life circumstances that make receiving a home-cooked meal very much appreciated. Join a team that meets on select Saturdays to cook meals that are delivered to members of our community. Email Justin Sundberg to participate and find out more details.
-
We are growing our relationship with the residents who live at St. Martin’s on Westlake, and are looking to solidify a team that will commit to preparing and serving a meal to this community. Email Renée Notkin if you would like to join this team.
-
Do you love to bake cookies? We always are in need of fresh baked cookies to pack into sack lunches on 4th Sundays. Email connect@unionchurchseattle.org to let us know how many dozens of cookies you can bake.
