Companionship Training

Hosted through Mental Health Chaplaincy, this workshop will build skills in working with our neighbors living in circumstances of homelessness, mental illness, addictions, trauma, and isolation. Companionship is a ministry of presence, and is a relational response to isolation and suffering. In the workshop, we’ll go through 5 basic practices of companionship, including: Hospitality, Neighboring, Side-by-side, Listening, and Accompaniment.
