We will be doing a ceramic tiles art project with Kim Kasabali (our Union ceramic artist) on October’s 4th Sunday. Kiddos will be creating an art installation that will be up throughout Advent (and maybe longer). Kids are encouraged to come and make a custom tile that responds to this verse:

This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all; But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin."

Also, light is often a strong Advent/Christmas theme, so this project will reflect the light of the season, as well as how God's character is light, which He showers on us to heal and cleanse us.

Families do not need to bring anything to participate for this, but it would be helpful to have a headcount ahead of time to make sure we have enough materials. RSVP to Sharon.
