Renée Notkin
PASTORAL LEAD
renee@unionchurchseattle.orgRenée received her undergraduate degree from the UW in biology and her MDiv from Regent College. Renée's passion is to Biblically and theologically encourage people that the God on High delights in them and invites them into a dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ through the equipping of the Spirit. She is thrilled to be a part of a worshipping community that is committed to investing in families, neighborhoods, the workplace and the world that all might flourish. She always welcomes a new book suggestion.

James B Notkin
VISION LEAD
jamesb@unionchurchseattle.orgAs Union’s Vision Lead, James B seeks to work with the community to live into our call to do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with Jesus. Before Union, James B had seasons (ok, make that years) in college, youth, adult, and new ministries with Ann Arbor First Presbyterian Church and University Presbyterian Church in Seattle. James B continually is being schooled by his three kids adding to the education he received at Princeton Theological Seminary. A native of Seattle he loves the rain but increasingly appreciates how sunshine makes biking and tennis more enjoyable.

Phil Lewis

phil@unionchurchseattle.orgPhil is a graduate of Seattle Pacific Seminary with a Master of Theology degree with a concentration in Reconciliation and Intercultural Studies. Phil is always excited to drink coffee, read new books, and meet new people. He is committed and passionate about seeing youth and the wider Seattle community come to know Jesus in a communal and transformative way through the art of teaching, storytelling, mutual living and justice. Before Union, Phil spent 10 years pastoring middle schoolers, high schoolers and their parents across the region in a number of different contexts.

Renée Sundberg
SPIRITUAL LIFE PASTOR
renees@unionchurchseattle.orgRenée has served in pastoral ministry to youth, college students and adults. She and her husband Justin were mission co-workers in Nicaragua. Renée studied speech communication and education at the UW and received her MDiv from Princeton Theological Seminary. Renée loves to facilitate space for others to encounter God in new, creative and life-giving ways. Renée is enthusiastic about film, art, dogs, fresh starts, chocolate, stories and authenticity. Her years employed at Taco Time rekindle muscle memory to roll burritos for Union’s neighborhood partners. As a mom to four teenagers, she is continually enlightened, delighted, humbled and challenged.
