Back by popular demand, we’ll be heading back to the Duwamish River on the morning of August 16 for a historical and ecological kayaking tour with the River Access Paddle Program. This organization partners with the Duwamish Tribe to create educational opportunities for community members to learn about the ecological and historical impact of the Duwamish River.

Just as we did during spring break, we’ll spend time learning about the history of the Duwamish Tribe and the river, and exploring what creation care looks like in light of this history as followers of Jesus.

We do ask that if your middle or high schooler attended our last kayaking trip, they consider allowing another student the opportunity to participate this time.
