Welcome to Union Church

We’re so glad you’re here. Union is a community of faithful believers, risk takers, questioners, and truth seekers in Seattle’s South Lake Union neighborhood. We believe every person is created in the image of God, and we want you to feel at home with us, whatever language you speak.

Listen Live in Your Language

Most Sundays, you can listen to worship live in your own language, right from your phone. Just tap the button below or scan the QR code on the front of your Sunday bulletin. This will take you to spf.io, where you can choose your language and follow along with the songs, prayers, Scripture, and message as they happen.

What to Expect

Worship begins at 10:00 AM at 415 Westlake Ave N. Free parking is available in the underground lot at 400 9th Avenue N, which opens at 9:00 AM.

When you arrive, find a seat anywhere you like. Open the translation link, choose your language, and put in your earbuds. You’ll hear everything as it happens.

Worship at Union follows a monthly rhythm:

  • 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays: Worship with music, prayer, a message from the Bible, and communion. Children are invited to their own time of worship partway through.

  • 2nd Sundays: A shorter message, followed by time in small groups to talk about it together. Live translation is available for the message, and small groups are in English. You’re welcome to listen in and join the conversation however you’re comfortable. You can also ask at the Welcome Table whether others speak your language, and we’ll do our best to group you together.

  • 4th Sundays: Worship in Action. Instead of a traditional service, we serve our neighbors through hands-on activities like packing care kits, making lunches, and community care projects. Live translation is not available on these Sundays, but you are welcome to join us. Serving side by side is a wonderful way to meet people.
